Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun (CON), has mandated the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission to refund all administrative fees associated with the ongoing recruitment process into the state’s civil service.
This directive, communicated by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, and addressed to the Civil Service Commission Chairman, overturns the longstanding practice of charging these fees, which have been standard for decades.
The fees, typically collected by the Civil Service Commission on behalf of third-party examiners responsible for administering and supervising the CBT tests, will no longer be required.
In a gesture reflecting the government’s commitment to easing the economic burden on citizens and fostering employment opportunities, the statement emphasized that the state government has decided to refund any fees already paid and waive fees for all new applications.
